Marketing and Transportation (M&T) business unit is the link in the Company’s business structure between the upstream and the downstream unit.
The M&T business strategy is aimed at maximizing profits from crude oil and refined products turnover transactions by way of increasing crude export, import, processing and refined product sales in the most economically beneficial directions. For the purpose of implementing its business strategy M&T deals with crude oil transportation via trunk oil pipelines of JSC KazTransOil, Kazakhstan-China Pipeline, and oil products shipment from different loading terminals and oil bases by rail and motor transport.
M&T ensures crude oil delivery to other partners for refining and sells refined oil products such as gasoline, diesel, fuel oil, jet fuel, vacuum gasoil and liquefied gas both on the domestic market and export markets.
M&T consists of the following key structural subdivisions, each being responsible for a definite area of activity related to crude oil and oil products transportation and sales:
Crude Oil Marketing – crude oil purchase and sales for export, crude import, sales at the domestic and international market.
Oil Products Marketing – oil products purchase and sales to the domestic market and for export; interaction with subsidiaries and tollers on processing services agreements; fulfillment of the Company’s social commitments with regard to refined products shipment plans to different regions of Kazakhstan; interaction with authorized central and regional state authorities , oblast administrations and operators on the matters of refined products distribution and domestic sales.
We offer ocean freight to our customers thereby solving a number of important shipment questions. This indeed reduces cost and delivery time to our customer’s destination. Shipment and export documentations are strictly controlled by our company in accordance and accuracy of the documents accompanying each oil product subjected to legal norms of the Kazakhstan and the countries of destination of the oil products. For all international shipping of oil products, our company offers multi-modal transportation network verified by clear route planning - from the start and end designated addresses, transshipment points, stopovers and motion graphics.
Our offered transport services has several advantages
- Ongoing sea shipping is always clearly defined and agreed with the host and transit ports.
- Loading of oil products terminals is performed with special equipment in accordance with the chosen required storage tanks.
- Declared cost of shipping depends on the weight of the oil products and its destination, and of the important range of pressure freight load, which are conditioned in the contract.
